Glossary of Standard Bids for Quiz Questions
(Mathchpoint (MP) scoring is for answers. If IMPs, it will say so in question.)

Opening 1 No Trump bids are always 15-17 HCP.

Opening 2 No Trump bids are always 20-21 HCP.

Opening 2 Club bids will be strong unless noted otherwise.

Weak 2 Bids are 6-10 HCP with a six-card suit.

Opening 3 Bids are weak with seven cards. However, 3C may be only six because opening 2C is strong.

Stayman will be footnoted (noted with an asterisk and explained).

Transfers will be footnoted.

Gerber & 4NT will be footnoted.

Splinter bids will be footnoted

Michael Cue Bids are footnoted.
